Hello! My name is Courtney.

I love God. I’m in awe of my Creator and I’m humbled every day by His perfect love and grace for me. I have the undeserved privilege of being His daughter and calling Him Father, not because of who I am, but in spite of who I am. I’m still learning what it means to surrender my life to Him and to trust in His goodness and in His truth in every season.

I love people. I treasure opportunities and quality time taken to know others deeply. To love them, to listen to their stories and to hear the songs of joy and of sorrow that take root in their heart.

I love travelling. I find so much joy in exploring new places, tracing the footsteps of those who have gone before me and forging new paths and leaving new footprints. Whether it takes me around the corner from home or across an ocean or two, there’s so much beauty and history to be seen in the world.  Every step leaves me in even greater awe of my Creator, as it all points back to Him.

I love learning. Growing up, I’ve had the privilege of being surrounded by people who have instilled in me a deep curiosity about the world. Now, I look around and find myself in the middle of an International Studies/Law degree at the University of New South Wales, at the doorstep of a year abroad that will be spent studying at Sciences Po (also known as the Paris Institute of Political Studies).

I love stories. Books, pictures, films, music, art and all forms of storytelling. I’m fascinated by people’s lives, experiences and the gifts that God has given them to bring it all to life to share with others. For me, my stories find themselves wrapped up in words, art and my camera.

As I leave home in Sydney to make a home in Paris, I’d love to share the stories that I come across with you and I’d love to keep hearing your stories too.
